Jason and Kris Abbey have owned and operated Abbey Road Catering, Inc. since 1999. In 2016, their oldest daughter attended the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Her special dietary needs weren't being met and she was often eating at home. Abbey Rd. University Cuisine LLC, was born out of an idea that year. The passion that every Greek house member deserved a quality cuisine and superior service, including those with special dietary needs.

The business is both women and Native American owned. Collectively they have worked in the industry for over 35 years. They both started their hospitality journey waiting tables in college, worked abroad and both eventually managed chef-owned restaurants.

Abbey Road is committed to providing motivated, professional catering personnel, who exceed the client’s expectations of service. Exceptional service, without intrusion, is Abbey Road’s hallmark. Employees are personally interviewed, selected, and trained to ensure uniform and exceptional service.

The Abbeys are active in their community. Kris has served on a variety of non-profit boards and volunteers her time and talents to a variety of philanthropic projects. They have 3 daughters, Charlie a graduate of OU is currently studying graduate work in NYC, Mackenzie who is a member of Chi Omega Sorority at UNT and their youngest, Elle, who is playing soccer at ORU.

At sweet sixteen, Jason and Kris Abbey didn’t foresee a life together in the food service industry and business management but that is exactly where life has led the husband and wife dynamic duo.

Dear Shane, Tony, and the rest of the kitchen staff,
I hate that my time living in the Pi Phi house has been cut short, but you made my time here just that much more enjoyable. I love the fact that each of you took the time to get to know us, called us by name, and never failed to ask us how our day had been. I will miss seeing your faces every day and how you always seemed to make my bad days not so bad. I’ll be looking forward to Monday and Wednesday dinners at the house next year. Thanks for being a part of my best year so far. You guys are so loved.
